Privacy Policy

Linkdex stores your library locally by default. No account or internet connection is required to start saving and organizing links.

Data we store

On this iPhone, Linkdex stores onboarding state, saved links, folders, tags, pins, link metadata, local previews, and synchronization state.

If a Premium user enables Cloud Sync, Linkdex also stores the optional Cloud account identifier, email address, library records, cloud previews, and app-owned Premium status needed to synchronize supported devices.

Saved link metadata may include a title, description, image URL, resolved URL, and extracted content. Saving a link never depends on preview generation succeeding.

How data is used

Local data is used to save, organize, search, edit, pin, and delete links immediately, including while offline. The free plan limit applies only to the number of saved links.

When Linkdex fetches a preview, the saved URL may be requested directly by iOS or sent to the Linkdex metadata service. Preview fetching is best-effort and resumes when connectivity returns.

Cloud account information and cloud library data are used only when a Premium user chooses to enable Cloud Sync.

Data sharing and processing

  • Apple processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, and related transaction records under Apple's policies.
  • Linkdex uses app infrastructure to verify Premium purchase status without requiring a Linkdex account.
  • Optional Cloud account and storage infrastructure processes your email address and cloud library only after you enable Cloud Sync.

Linkdex does not sell your personal data or use your saved content for cross-company advertising tracking.

Access and deletion

Delete Cloud Account permanently removes the optional Cloud account and all data stored in Cloud while keeping the complete local library on this iPhone.

Erase Local Library separately removes links, folders, tags, pending shared links, and local previews from this iPhone. Local-only data can also be lost if Linkdex is deleted before Cloud Sync is enabled.

Apple may retain App Store transaction records under its own legal and billing requirements. Read the data deletion guide for the complete steps.
